How much does it cost?
Every user nominated as “active” costs $30/month for Standard Kiri Align. As employees come and go (such as casuals for seasonal work) they can be deactivated so will not be charged for going forward. They can be reactivated if they come back, such as next season. The additional specialised Kiri Align add ons are an upgrade for a fixed monthly fee regardless of users.
Are there any contracts?
No. Subscriptions are month by month. You edit the number of users within your system.
Can I use the system on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The system is run, or administered from a web portal on desktop or laptop, but the majority of users will access the system via app on phone or tablet. There is an app for both iOS and Android operating systems.
Who owns the data?
You do. Most, if not all the data you have inputted can be downloaded in either PDF or Excel form.
What are the additional upgrade features?
There are currently 3 optional “add ons”. These have been created to take most of the administrative work out of running your Heavy Vehicle NHVAS Mass Management, Basic Fatigue Management or Maintenance Management systems.
How does the Mass Management add-on work?
The Mass Management add-on allows for the creation of a “Load Sheet” for the driver to input information such as load details and weights. The system then quarantines potential overloads for review and if required semi pre-formatted non-compliances sent to drivers. All the data collected within the system pre-populates quarterly compliance reports.
How does the Basic Fatigue Management add-on work?
BFM medicals and training documents are stored in the system to make it easier to keep track of information such as due dates. The system acts as a prompt and receptacle for driving/work hour audits, and semi pre-formatted non-compliances sent to drivers. All the data collected within the system pre-populates quarterly compliance reports.
How does the Maintenance Management add-on work?
Pre-start checks and services can be linked to the service calendar in the Maintenance Management add-on for easy reference to pending and completed services. All the data collected within the system pre-populates the quarterly compliance reports. The system can operate with both accredited equipment (i.e. trucks and trailers) and equipment that isn’t accredited (i.e. tractors, light vehicles, logging equipment) with only the accredited equipment populating your quarterly compliance reports.
Do you have checklists pre-loaded into the system?
No, but we do have a selection of checklists available for some industries to get you started. These checklists can be shared to your account and then you can use as is, edit to better suit your particular needs, or just use as samples to create your own checklists. We can also walk you through the process of creating checklists to suit your needs. You can also share checklists between Kiri Align accounts.
How do I create a checklist?
Physically creating a checklist within the system is as easy as creating a basic “Word” document.Our documentation can support you to do this in easy steps or one of our customer service team can guide you through it.
Does the system work when outside of phone service?
Yes. Access to reliable phone service outside of metro areas is still a known issue for many regional operators. Users can still use Kiri Align when outside of phone service and the system will then upload data when back online.
Who am I speaking to when I need help or support?
If you require support you will be working with people based in Regional Victoria. We are not just creators of the system, we’re users in our 70 year old agriculture, road transport and quarrying family-run business, having developed the system to streamline our WHS and compliance obligations. If you have a question we’ve probably already come across it in our own business, and created a solution.
